Nest.bg is located between Sopot town and the cable chair lift ( N42 ̊39' 38.4'' E024 ̊44' 57.5'' ). The easiest way to approach it is from the U-turn section of the road connecting the cable lift and St Spas monastery. The cable lift road is on the west side of Sopot town, starting from the main Sofia-Burgas road towards the mountain. St Spas monastery is connected to Sopot town center via Stara Planina street.
Sopot town itself is on the main road E871: Sofia-Pirdop-Karlovo-Kazanlak-Sliven-Burgas. The Plovdiv-Karlovo road and the scenic Troyan-Karnare mountain pass road reach the E871 10km from Sopot, and provide quick access to both South and North Bulgaria.
Karlovo is just 5km east of Sopot, and there are 3 trains daily from the capital Sofia, the Black sea coast city of Burgas and Plovdiv. Plovdiv is the second biggest city in Bulgaria, and the Karlovo-Plovdiv coach runs every hour from 6am until 8pm.
Bulgaria is located between the Middle East and Europe, and there are daily trains and buses from Istanbul, Turkey to Sofia, Belgrade, Budapest, Vienna, Prague, Berlin, Munich. The buses from Istanbul to Plovdiv (55km from Sopot) take 8 hours and cost only 20 euros.
Low cost flights by Wizzair, Ryan Air and Easyjet provide affordable travel to Sofia, Plovdiv and Burgas airports, together with regular airlines.
